Due to the city’s proximity to Washington D.C and its location along the I-95 corridor, the Woodbridge Real Estate has been experiencing rapid growth in recent years. Woodbridge is served by Prince William County Parkway which connects the city to I-95 and runs right through the middle of Woodbridge. Route 234 is also described as an "outer beltway" connecting the I-95 corridor and U.S. 1 (Jefferson Davis Hwy.) to points west and north and ultimately terminating at Interstate 66.
